Dealing with gossip
So a great piece today on gossip from the Banner of Truth Magazine.
The author makes the excellent point that, if instead of gossiping about a person, we pray for them, it will be harder to gossip about them!
This can be extended to the politics section on here- acting as if God will be dethroned if a certain individual gets into power- OR OR you can pray that they come to see the light of Christ's salvation! Your choice.
A wonderful conclusion from the author too- she concludes by reminding us that Satan is the ultimate gossiper and accuser and wouldn't we want to follow God's example and share God's loving attitude with fellow sinners
Did you catch that? Fellow sinners. A very humble reminder that as Christians we are only sinners saved SOLELY by God's grace.
