Want to see the supernatural?

A great point from my pastor at the Wednesday Bible Study- good, biblical preaching is a miracle in and of itself, a supernatural work!

People that aren't satisfied in Christ always have to look for miracles or emphasise them for worship- Bethel, Benny Hinn, etc. Leaders of both mentioned ministries are false believers.

Want a miracle? Know that it is only by the power of the Holy Spirit as to why we are drawn to reading the Bible for growth, why we have any desire to pray at all or any interest in God.

It's astonishing people go to false charismatic churches for "miracles" even though we have one as a tenant to our faith- the miracle that Christ died on the cross for our sins and was ressurected on the third day, that all who trust in him can be saved from eternal damnation and get eternal joy in heaven instead.

Highly reccomend watching Justin Peters on this subject, very edifying and he always includes the gospel in his videos!

What is great about Justin is he deliberately goes to "healing" crusades, because he has severe celebral palsy and always gets rejected- funny that 🤔

Yeah funny how I went to one of those with the family many many years ago to see what all it was about and I remember the lady behind me in the audience went up front to get healed for being deaf. There was no interpreter there for deaf people, yet she knew when to go down to get "healed" and they put on the biggest show I've ever seen. It was just despicable and an insult to God and the Holy Spirit. After supposedly getting healed from being deaf, she nonchalantly came back to her seat and sat down and wasn't even excited. Didn't say a word just sit there silently. I don't know about you brother but if I was healed during some healing from being deaf, I'd be happy as could be and be jumping all over the place and praising the Lord, if I could hear again. lol
@LadyGrace Yep, this same movement also tried to convince a little girl with mobility issues that she could walk again. It's apalling.
@BritishFailedAesthetic It is! They'll have to answer to God for that.
