Graham Senior was a man from the Fifties. Shortly after WWII there was a revival of religion and he came out of that. So many people who suffered so much found strength by listening to his words. Don't bother explaining this to young folk now. Nothing special is now the norm. But then again, people like you and me still remember

@val70 Yes he was an amazing man. He dedicated his entire life to Christ. In his old age he said he felt like a failure because he didn't think he made a big difference in the world. But that was not true. My Grandmother listened to him on TV and felt inspired by his preaching. I volunteered at his stadium preachings in San Diego, California. Many dedicated their lives to Christ listening to him. He had high moral discipline too. He encouraged men to not kiss their girlfriends until they proposed and gave them a ring. That's what he did. He had a happy marriage it seemed.
