Catholics are not Christians.

Strange as this may seem, Catholics live a different way of life guided by the Church. Christians follow or adhere to various forms of a monotheistic Abrahamic religion based on the life of Jesus Christ.

Don't they follow very similar set of values?

Didn't Abraham have multiple wives? Yet under Catholic laws, only one wife is allowed.

No, there are no "similar set of rules". This is why the Catholic Church takes great importance in ensuring the "flock" follow the shepherd and not be led astray. Martin Luther splintered off in 1517 to form Lutheranism. All hell broke loose after that. And now there is a shopfront church on every block in America, each with its own preacher of Christianity.

Abraham is part of the religion of Judaism, a Jewish faith.

So many different types of Christians.

There is only one truth. Evil has many faces of the truth.

@sree251 Wow.

Wow.

Wow is right. King Henry VIII was a Catholic. He wanted to divorce his Queen to marry another wife. The Pope said no because holy matrimony is a sacred union between man and wife. He also broke away from the Church, the way Martin Luther did, to form the Church of England (Anglicanism) making himself the Head of his Church and Defender of the Faith.

@starbucksgirly No, that doesn't make sense if you look closely at the facts of the situation.

@starbucksgirly
youre confused. It makes perfect sense

You keep asserting this but offer no explanation why you do that. I explained why I made the distinction. Can you offer critical comment on my explanation? Are you capable of doing that?
