This is a new campaign by Open Doors UK, a charity helping persecuted Christians, it focuses on 16.2 million Christians in sub-saharan Africa in displacement camps- usually due to violence from groups like Boko Haram.
This article is based in Northern Nigeria from the perspective of Pastor Barnabas, a displaced individual himself, who still pastors to those at his camp.
In his all Christian camp, he lives in a home made from palm leaves and mosquito nets- it is a "home" smaller than a double mattress- for a family of eight.
The camp where he lives has poor hygiene- no toilets and no running water.
Pastor Barnabas is himself a victim of the violence- he came with his family after fleeing an attack by Fulani militants, though he survived, his injuries left him needing metal parts in his hand- it is due to be removed and another procedure done, but he can't afford the medical bills.
Believers are desperately hungry in the camp- but if they venture out to try and get food, Fulani militants are usually ready to attack and as Pastor Barnabas was speaking to Open Doors, an attack on his own brother in law had happened.
Children are starving- many women in Pastor Barnabas's canp have turned to prostitution solely to make sure that their children can have their next meal.
This is a snapshot of one of the many 16.2 million displaced Christians in Sub Saharan Africa.
Please, at the very least sign this petition for Governments to act on this issue:

@graphite Yes, it is a tragedy and I'm eternally greatful for charities like VOM and Open Doors providing help to our brothers and sisters in Christ in Nigeria and over the world.
Also, well done to Fox News for reporting on this.
