Church Notes

Good service- it was the occasional one where children's church mixes with the regular one and the theme being Jesus being the greatest treasure.

I personally am a fan of the idea of children's church (don't pretend a 5 year old is going to have their heart stirred by a sermon) but I personally don't think they should be mixed together, because if you were taking a Non-Christian visitor it would be a tad cheesy.

It was sad because one of the vicars is leaving to be an army chaplain, but let us not be selfish as he will be a blessing for the army to have!

The army is probably filled with chaplains who are Justin Welby stooges, spouting Labour Party talking points rather than focusing on the Gospel of Christ! Not to worry, this vicar is Gospel orientated, sadly a rare gem in my Anglican denomination (I'm that Anglican that mostly goes to Baptist churches 🤭).

The farewell for the vicar was great, lovely hot dogs, coffee and a cake in the shape of his regiment he will be serving. Above all, great company of brothers and sisters in Christ!
I very much agree. The two groups don't belong together in Bible study. The adult Bible study would be far above their heads. Good post brother.
@LadyGrace Thanks sister, it was a great farewell to the vicar though and I know he willl feed his regiment biblical manna!
