Despite all those priests being crucified in feudal Japan, or all those priests being burned alive in 16th century Europe?

The godly are just as likely to be killed as the indifferent.

@LowBorn That has very little to do with what God says. God says "no weapon against us will prosper". That means if someone hurts a christian (kills them, treats them badly, or mocks them,) God will not let that person prosper in their life.
