There is no proof any such person ever existed, the Romams, who meticulously wrote everything down, including receipts, have no such records of him, anywhere.

@NativePortlander1970 Would the Romans have recorded every person they crucified?
@sree251 Specially those who were considered revolutionaries with large followings.

@NativePortlander1970 Jesus was crucified because the High Priest of Jerusalem picked Barnabas as the one to be pardoned. Pontius Pilate didn't have a reason to crucify Jesus.

@NativePortlander1970 It's recorded history in the scripture.
@sree251 Since it's written in scripture, so does the Flying Spaghetti Monster, he boiled for your sins, beware of impastas, R'amen.

@NativePortlander1970 What's the matter with you? Do you believe that you are living on a spinning planet?
@sree251 Just proselytizing a different religion to you. Yes, I do.

@NativePortlander1970 That blue planet is what you would see when you are no longer on the ground where you live. It has nothing to do with the ground you walk on.
@sree251 Your point being, what?
sree251 · 41-45, M
@NativePortlander1970 My point is that we make associations between where we are to where we were? Such associations is conceptual and created by the mind.
@sree251 Then explain how I witnessed eternity during a near death out of body experience two months before my third birthday in february 1973, I was far too young to understand comcepts, but I still saw what I saw. I just wish I would have remembered what I saw, but I do know for a fact that I never saw any grandfatherly type deity.

@NativePortlander1970 I do recall your account of this incident in another thread.
Look, you were not even three years old. You were far too young to discern anything, not even a tummy ache. Tell me, what exactly did you see? I couldn't even recall any experience at the age of three.

@sree251 I was having a tracheostomy performed due to me slowly chocking over a swelling epiglottis, sometime during it I remember being outside my body and looking through a perfect blue illumination and seeing things going on, knowing somehow it was my future.
When I was 8 1/2 during xmas season 1978 we were shopping in DownTown Portland when I spotted a sign with that same intense blue light, I was holding my Dad's hand and felt me jerk to a stop. When he looked at me he asked why I stopped, so I pointed at the sign and said it was like looking into eternity, when I looked back at him his eyes were wide and his jaw dropped just staring at me. Later that night when I was supposed to be in bed I heard my Dad crying, so I snuck out to see why, he was telling my mother that after my tracheostomy was removed a month after it was put in, and could talk again, I told him about leaving my body and seeing that blue light against the wall and saying the same thing, it was about a month before my third birthday in 1973 when I told him the first time about the blue light.

@sree251 Your thoughts? I'm waiting.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@NativePortlander1970 Ok, I believe you had that experience with that blue light both times:first when you were 3 and then again with your dad when you were 8 1/2. Now, tell me what made you think it was an out of body experience? What do you mean by "out of body"? And what do you mean by eternity?
@sree251 Exactly what they mean

I am taking you very seriously. Granted, I do come to this forum to banter on politics and stuff; but mainly, I come here to reflect on the meaning of human existence, my existence. This require serious inquiry into everything we have taken for granted to be real and true. So far, I have found nothing real, and nothing true.
Eternity. This word means unending time. Is this what you meant by eternity?
Out of body. Is your body a biological organism, a material thing that occupies space, and you perceived yourself outside of that body? This implies a state of separation between the body and you, the observer of the body.
Do you agree with my clarifications above? If you don't, then give me your meanings of "eternity" and "out of body".
