Sermon Notes

Well, back to our usual Sunday church today (three rammmed services in a huge auditorium) and it was a great sermon on grief.

.Will you trust God in your situation of grief?

. Take comfort- God is not a distant God, he experienced suffering like we do!

. "Jesus wept", the shortest Bible verse, it shows he grieved and knows our pain as we do!

. With Lazarus- Jesus does not let the people witness a miracle straight away- he grieves with them!

. During grief, trust in God's timing, trust in his will.

. Experience the comfort of Jesus's presence in grief

. For those who died in Christ- the hope is in the ressurection!

That's a beautiful reflection!

"Jesus wept" (John 11:35) is indeed a powerful and poignant verse, showing us that Jesus is not just a Savior, but also a companion in our sorrow. He understands our grief, pain, and struggles.

Jesus' tears demonstrate his empathy and compassion for those who suffer, reminding us that he is present in our darkest moments. Jesus' humanity, showing that he experienced emotions just as we do, while also reminding us of his divinity as the Son of God.

May your reminders bring solace and strength to all who reflect on it.
@LadyGrace Thanks sister, I do wonder how many think about it, but don't comment on it?
