Eagle's wings? God?

Warren Peel in the June 2024 issue of The Banner really helps explain the analogy of Exodus and Deutoronomy.

In nature, when an eagle judges it's young are ready to fly, it pushes them out of the nest, if they fall, the eagle will be there to safely swoop and retrieve it's eaglet from danger.

So it is with our trials as Christians- God will push us out of our comfort zone but during our plummet, he will safely retrieve us and in the process, teach us to trust him!

This inspirational Christian writing has been an encouragement to so many people. It reminds of the truth that Christ will never leave us, nor forsake us.
@OverTheHill Thanks for your persistent encouragement!

@BritishFailedAesthetic You're welcome. I appreciate your posts. You are more articulate in your writing than myself in expressing your faith in Christ. You do a great job in presenting a defense for the faith, and bringing the plight of the persecuted church to this site.
@OverTheHill Thankyou so much!

I love this post and I especially love that example. Excellent!

The figure of eagles' wings was also used in the Old Testament to represent the strength and loving-kindness of the Lord in delivering His covenant people (see Exodus 19:4; Deuteronomy 32:11).
@LadyGrace It's so great that God's word uses clear earthly analogies for concepts, for now too glorious for us to comprehend!
