The Trinity

Belief in God as Trinity is crucial to an orthodox confession and indeed, to salvation

So writes David Mckay in the June 2024 issue of The Bannner , wow strong words, but this is not semantics here, this is our God and if you view God differently to a Trinity, you are worshipping a false God.

Another thing- when explaining the Trinity we must keep it simple "God in three persons" as the hymn goes.

God is not 1/3 of each (modalism) God is not like water, ice and mist (Arianism) and God absolutely does not take three different forms at will.

Keep it simple- this diagram has been used to help people understand the Trinity for almost 1000 years or so, so it should do the trick. 😉

So BEAUTIFUULY stated, brother. And one does not operate separately from the other in the Trinity. They are always in complete harmony with each other and consult with each other in all things.

God is so absolutely awesome and mind-blowing. He is a way maker and miracle worker. A light in the Darkness. How I love studying the trinity. It's hard for our finite minds to comprehend, but someday we shall go beyond this veil and see the real world, where no eye has yet seen, nor ear heard, in heaven. What a glorious day that shall be, when our Jesus, we shall see! 1 Corinthians 2:9 With a smile upon His face, the One who saved us by His grace! Then He'll take us by the hand and lead us to that Glory Land, What a day, glorious day, that shall be!

@LadyGrace Thanks so much sister, for the encouragement.... and for adding the essential part that we who are saved will see the Triune God face to face!
@BritishFailedAesthetic you're welcome my beloved brother in Christ. I treasure you.
