Matthew 13:17 For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Wow! Let us not take our knowledge of the gospel as Christians for granted- accepting Christ's sacrifice is our only way to heaven and you will not see anyone who does not accept this there- you will not see any religious leader from a different faith to greet you in heaven.
Solomon with all his wisdom would have sold all of his earthly gold for the knowledge we have as Christians as you cannot put a price in it!
He would have given everything away to know- how will Gentiles be brought to salvation? Would the Messiah be a literal king? What he wouldn't have given away to know God is a Trinity and that God himself (God the Son) would be the long awaited Messiah!
