When we go to Church today.......

Amen to that, brother! The Bible says the Church must be biblically based. That means everything that pastor preaches better line up with God's Word. And if not, it says to leave that church and go to one that will preach the pure Word of God.

Praise God for these dedicated, devoted lovers of Christ. They have proved their love for Him through their actions. I love how they know the importance of God's Word. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22-25

I understand. I go to one that’s close by, a 15-minute drive, and another that’s about an hour’s drive away so I can go to church with my sister across town. I was very fortunate to have at least these two which are dedicated to teaching and preaching the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse; going into context and meaning from the original languages to explain God’s Word.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for such an important message!

So thankful to have an amazing biblically based church just two miles away!

It is about a 30 minute ride. Mostly due to traffic and stop lights.
