This Sunday, a great answer to what is on many Christians minds.....

Fear of the Lord is only Good for the one who has not come to believe Jesus and trust in the atonement of the LORD Jesus...

People who are fixated on their sins and doubting their eternal salvation because of their sins have not truly trusted in the Atonement of the LORD Jesus.. They are locked up in the Works salvation doctrine.. And these are the ones who will try to justify themselves before the LORD on judgement day by boasting about their many wonderful works..

(Matthew 7:22-23) "[c=BF0000]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done [big]many wonderful works[/big]?[/c] {23} [c=BF0000]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.[/c]"

Once one comes to the understanding of the Atonement of Jesus and trusts in His Atonement that fear is removed..

(1 John 4:18) "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
