Praise God! What a wonderful message of hope, He has for us this morning. No need to fear the eclipse on April 8th.

Praise God! I love this minister's message. It is both accurate and biblical and a great comfort in today's hurried, troubled world. (Video at bottom, but don't miss the rest of this message.)

Pastor John Bradshaw, puts the coming events of April 8th, exactly in perspective. I hope you will be as blessed by his message, as I am. It is well worth the viewing and listening. It is a message of Hope, and who better to hope and trust in, than our only safe place...Jesus.

No matter what comes, those in this world who follow and trust God, will never have to be disappointed, panic, nor store things, because we're not relying on ourselves for protection in times like these. We are ultimately and definitely relying on the Promises of God, and that is more than enough. God will ALWAYS see us through!!!

In times like these, we need a Savior
In times like these, we need an Anchor;
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!
This rock is Jesus, yes, He's the One;
This rock is Jesus, the only One!
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!

Those in Christ have not one thing to fear! Whatever comes, will come, but we still have no need to fear, whatsoever. Amen!!

God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of LOVE, and A SOUND MIND. 2 Timothy 1:7

No matter what we see around us in this world, if we keep our focus on Jesus, believe the promises of God and trust in Him, He will never let us down. We shall still have no fear, no matter what we see take place, but will set our hearts and minds instead, in the promises of God, just as the Israelites did, when the Romans far outnumbered them and were coming to kill them all... but God stepped in for His people, as promised, and delivered them from all their enemies.

And so what if the grid goes down? Where is our faith in times like these? It will do our faith and physical complacency good, to exercise what God has already given us, the tools to survive. Did not our forefathers and even the Eskimos live without electricity and running water in their homes? Yet they survived.

God has not changed with time. He will deliver us, as well, as we walk by faith and not by sight, keeping our eyes on Jesus, instead of the turmoil in this world. Satan is in the habit of instilling fear in people, but we are reminded that God is greater than anything or anyone on this Earth and He is still in control. He never breaks a promise to protect those who will trust in Him. Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world! God's great love and power are not so weak that the enemy, Satan, can overcome us. We have but to trust.

It's not so much how much faith we have, because God has given every one of us, a Measure of Faith. So it is a matter of whom we have our faith IN.

Love his preaching, reminds me a bit of Joe Kirby.

@BritishFailedAesthetic That's no problem, brother. Not even talking about him, it's just that I wasn't sure how far you would go into detail and I just really want people to focus on God's message. Otherwise, no problem.

People were going crazy at the grocery store to stock up on survival items. God doesn't want us to have a spirit of fear. I didn't buy into that and I didn't stock up. I know God will take care of His people.
@LadyGrace Amen, not taking part in panic buying is a great witness, sister!

@BritishFailedAesthetic Thank you brother. You'll have to forgive me. It's only 4:00 in the morning here and I got up at 1:00 a.m. and my brain is just kicking into gear but now I remember who Joe Kirby is and I agree with you. What a fantastic testimony and ministry he has. I really like him. I do watch his videos. He is a perfect example of a good disciple of Christ, loving and kind.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the eclipse, if it isn't cloudy.
This is an a astronomical event that brings glory to God. No need to fear, because the Lord made the Earth. Sun, Moon, and stars. He orders the events in the heavens. For me it is something to marvel at, looking at the handiwork of God.

Beautiful hymn. And equally beautiful post. The message remains crystal clear, in this storm of uncertainty, Focus on him. That can get us sail on top of the biggest troubles.
