Remember Semse?
The Turkish believer whose husband passed away- last minute cancellation- then one hour, then that hour turned into a day?
10 years on due to family threats she is now living in the States- and a VOM worker came to visit her on holiday with his family.
Now instead of meeting her in a Turkish cafe, surrounded by the sights and sounds of a Turkish city, they now met at Denny's in Colorado!
The VOM worker's in-laws were there on holiday too and they got to meet Semse!
During the meal, the in-laws really got to know Semse and after they exhanged details.
Later, Semse called asking the father in law (who was a retired mechanic) for help fixing her broken car, and from there a permanent friendship formed, now Semse sees the in-laws more than the VOM worker himself!
Isn't it amazing how God forms relations- from a lady in Turkey who cancelled on the day, then called again saying one hour (which turned into a day) to her coming to the States and forming a permanent relationship with the VOM worker's in-laws!
