When I am away from home and a different location i.e. wife's business, hotel, seeing family, etc I always pack the following:
Pocket bible, morning and evening by Charles Spurgeon (yes I'm that type of Anglican) 馃槄, I also have the downloaded prayer dairies from Open Doors and Barnabas Aid and visit the Release International website's interactive prayer section.

My wife and I have the Bible on CD. They have about 8 different readers so it sounds more realistic. We enjoy listening to it while we travel in the motorhome. 馃槉
