The Church in Jordan and almost a missed opportunity!
In the Jordan there was a pastor who had a church and a hectic ministry but one day a potential donor came and said he'd fund the church to reach out and help Syrian refugees.
The pastor politely declined the offer but that night God put it on his conscience and the pastor began arguing with God, so to speak, but guess who won?
The pastor returned to the donor and agreed to the donor for the money for the refugee ministry and so it began!
One case that stuck out to the pastor was a woman who had a son with a heart defect, she asked the pastor to pray for her son and later on the pastor got a call from the woman- her son was healed!
Being very religious the woman asked the pastor to write the exact words he had said but the pastor explained to her that there was no need as Jesus knows our hearts and minds, there are no magic words, she soon became Christian!
Now to do a sporter style ending commentary- now ain't that better than bitching and whining about refugees?
