Hotel dinner with a released pastor

A Release International was getting ready to meet a friend who was recently released from a Sudanese pastor- nervous- had his friend changed after spending 14 months in a Sudanese jail?

Petr (the friend) was the same as before- his only difference was that he loved Christ more!

In jail Petr was waterboarded by IS members and also put in solitary confinement, but having been a pastor during Communist USSR times he was more than ready for the persecution.

Petr two years before being sent to jail had a dream in which he saw a cell door and was shut inside, people at his church realised he was disturbed by it but in jail, he realised- in the Sudanese jail that was the exact same door as his dream!

Despite his traumatic time in jail, in the prison he always went to sleep at 9- it turns out the pastor of his Czech Church got the congregation to pray for him everyday at 8 for peaceful sleep, which would've been 9 in Sudan!

Petr recalled the time when he was sent to jail by police just as he got his boarding pass back to the Czech Republic and he recalls the time the jail guard told him he was to be released- as he was reading the Psalms!

Your prayers make a difference!

Prayer does make a difference, God has shown me that my prayers, and giving has been answered!
@saintsong Amen, blocked the individual below.

@saintsong sorry not you I meant to send it the atheist that keeps on sending very negative posts. I am new to this social media stuff and need to understand this system before I make posts. I apologize

Sorry to disappoint, but prayers have absolutely no effect on anything but the mind of the person praying.

If “god” were so wonderful, loving and omniscient, prayers would in any case be completely unnecessary.

And, let's face it, all those poor and innocent terminally-ill children, for whom so many have prayed, would be alive and healthy. Seems a bit unkind of "god" that it would ignore such suffering, no?

But of course it (“god”) is a fiction invented by man anyway. And prayer is just talking to yourself.
