@JohnnySpot Interesting literary question, that. Omitted by simple translator's or transcriber's error, or deliberately, do you think?

After all, omitting the conjunction in such a construction is fairly common if a more mellifluous or lyrical touch is appropriate; and here, even if the capital 'C' does not register, the context is clear enough.

@ArishMell The reader is given credit to understand the capital C means "The Creator"
But adding a "The" would make it clear that the person is not turning into a god.

@daydeeo Jesus was appealing to the precedent already established in the Torah, which referred to God's holy ones or his Divine council as "gods"
He was having a really stressful day trying to convince them that it wasn't blasphemy for him to call himself God.
