An ideal church balance
From my experience I believe I have seen it- a church that is out there helping the community BUT never loses sight of the gospel.
It is great being out there- helping and providing food for the homeless, the refugees, those on universal credit.
Having said that some churches do this and it becomes their obsession in sermons- a social gospel. What good is it to provide charity but the recipient suddenly dies unexpectedly and goes to hell?
So... go out there, roll up your sleeves to help out with charity but don't EVER lose sight of the gospel.
Yes Non Christians- if they refuse the gospel, we will still provide charity for them regardless.
