What I love about American churches
Ofcourse plenty of other Countries do this.
I love how consistently you guys do midweek bible studies and also how you always seem to do fellowship meals after services- I cannot stress the importance of bonding with fellow believers, you can read all the classics like Spurgeon (obviously the Bible comes first) and do charity, etc but if you do not have fellowship with Christians you will not go as far in your journey.
Unfortunately the main church of my wife and I only do Sunday services BUT they do have missions evenings which include a meal based on the Country along with words of encouragement from Christians in that country - our church is a great, diverse church meaning people from all over the world attend and there will certainly be Christians from the Country mentioned 😄
What my wife and I do though to get consistent fellowship during midweek is go to a local church's bible study which is great and diverse like our church, I emphasise this as we are all one in the body of Christ.
Who knows what the future holds for the UK church but hopefully we follow you guys and start doing more fellowship meals!
