Is god speaking to me through my dreams?

Hi everyone,

God bless you all,
I'm wondering if anyone has anh enlightenment or prayer suggestion - last night i had a dream my flat(im from the UK) began to flood, it wasn't flooded where belongings were floating, just enough to walk through. I was not in this "flood" however my friend video called me to show me, how my flat started to flow with water and water flowing down the stairs? My neighbour entered the dream as the water started to go into her flat.

Key notes from interpretation through only a biblical perspective:
1. Water was clear and clean
2. I was not in the flat whilst this was happening
3. From what I read, I need to understand a real storm could be pending in my life. And whilst I am currently experiencing a real tradegy in my life, i am unsure what else I could take on.

Advice or enlightenment on any prayers against this flood dream, and any prayers against evil/destruction/dismay

What steps shall I follow?

Faith in God may lead you. But God will never speak to you. Or anybody else. God has no humanlike form and therefore cannot speak to you directly.

@SW-User Except that God does speak to us both directly and indirectly all the time. He who has ears to hear.....

@hippyjoe1955 I don't buy it and my church doesn't teach it. You have your opinion. I have mine. Agree to disagree.

@SW-User I don't care what you think or what your church teaches. I have experienced it. I was participating in a Bible study one night when I said something completely innocuous. Suddenly the lady across the table from me burst into tears. We all waited for her to regain her composure and she then explained that what I said had touched on something she had long struggled with. Coincidence? Maybe in your world. In my worle God spoke to the lady.

@hippyjoe1955 And I too don't care what you think. You chose to respond to me like you are the all knowing himself. Sad to say, you are not. Believe as you wish. I am not your pastor or your teacher.

@SW-User You were the one that made the declarative statement that God doesn't speak to His people. You are the one who comes across as all knowing. I know different because I have experienced it. You are simply going on what your church tells you.
