Did you know that the speed of light can be found in the Bible?
In Numbers 2:3 the Tribe of Judah was positioned in the desert at the east, at the point of the rising sun:
"And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah."
2 kings 8:19 says, "Yet the Lord would not destroy Judah for David his servant's sake, as he promised him to give him alway a [b]light[/b], and to his children."
Numbers 2:9 tells us how many people were in the tribe of Judah, the tribe of light:
"All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an [b]hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred[/b], throughout their armies. These shall first set forth."
Or 186,400.
186,400 The Constant Speed Of Light!
The physicist Albert A. Michelson in the early 1900’s, using a device known as an Interferometer, stated the speed of light to be 186,400 mps.
Of course the Bible had it right 4,000 years before science discovered it, because the Bible is God's pure, perfect, holy, infallible, inspired, preserved words.
