If you accept your churches doctrines, without comparing them to scripture- then your worship your CHURCH. A true Christian accepts what Christ taught, and NOT what the churches teach.

Nice try but in order to understand the Scripture you need to look back at the historical record of how the early church interpreted the scripture. If you come up with some whacked out theory the the church has traditionally ignored then you are likely the one that is wrong. Scripture according to scripture is not open to one man's interpretation.
