Is it not blasphemous to have "In God we trust" on money?

I've always had an issue with this. It's one thing to put the phrase in a courtroom, capitol building, or other symbol, but to put it on money feels blasphemous to me. Didn't Jesus drive the money changers out of the temple because they were putting wealth and money in front of God? Isn't that what we are doing by putting the phrase on money, saying that God is somehow tied to wealth and money?

The love of money is the root of all evil. When you say blasphemous, when we see "In God We Trust", there's nothing blasphemous about that in my opinion. Now if we were to say that it was Satan who takes care of our financial needs, and give credit to him, then it would be blasphemous.
It's not money that is evil. It is our attitude towards it, whether we use it for good or evil, how much we love it, and if we put wealth above God, worshiping money instead of God.
