Chronicles of a Christian Teen #13

Faith?

Faith is one of the most central parts of our relationship with our Heavenly Father, God. No matter our age, our title, our status, or our origin, life has a way of challenging and aiming to break us down. This is where Faith comes into play.

What is Faith?

Faith by definition is "the complete trust or confidence in someone or something." In a Biblical sense, it is "a strong belief in God, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof." The book of Hebrew greatly talked about Faith and the way our Forefathers in the Bible used it to keep pushing and how it all correlates to a much bigger plan, which is when we will be made perfect on Earth in the new system of things.

But, what is Faith really?

Regarding Faith, it makes us stronger, braver, and better when life gets a little challenging or difficult for us to handle. Faith helps us through times of trouble and allows us to help others go through their own sets of trials and tribulations. It is the trust that God exists, and by following Him and the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ, we are able to look forward to a world beyond this one. The Kingdom of God, where we will live in peace with him forever.

Here are a few verses that I as a young Christian Teen, have helped in my journey with the Sovereign Lord, God. Please take some time to read and enjoy!
Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) ~ "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see."

Romans 10:17 (NLT) ~ "So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ."

Galatians 3:24-26 (NLT) ~ "Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. Now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus."

Romans 5:1-2 (NLT) ~ "Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of underserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory."

Jude 1:3-4 (NLT) ~ "Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once and for all time to his holy people. I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your congregations, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people has been recorded long ago, for they have denied our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus."
You ever have any doubts?
Dan19331-35, M
@NoobGains hm well it's always good to hear that from another person that feels strongly about it. It's inspiring.
Why do you write everything in bold like that, mind I ask?

@Dan193 For some it's hard to read I know, but because I'm used to doing posts in bold, it just seems easier for me to read and it looks cool. I could definitely change up my future posts, just for the sake of going out of my comfort zone.

@NoobGains It's not harder to read 馃槀 It's just unusual, so I was wondering.
