Does anyone believe that rapture is imminent!

Watch the film left behind, great film.
True story that hasn’t happened yet.
TrashCat · M
Only Americans will be saved in the end because the bible clearly says "one nation, under God, Indivisible , with freedom and Justice for all. AMEN". The world will be lost when Americans start floating around in the sky like a swarm of locusts

Whether people believe in it or not, it has been prophesied and it will come to pass. Nothing will change that.

You're absolutely right and there are many verses that back up the account of the rapture and it is different from the Second Coming of Christ.

It's not IF it will happen, but WHEN. It is a given....prophecy.

Yes. Odin is coming. I’ve see his ravens.

Matthew 24:39
And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:41
Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

Luke 17:36
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
RedBaron · M
What does that even mean?
RedBaron · M
@LadyGrace That’s not the basis of my username. But enjoy it.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@RedBaron Ohhhh, you meant The Red Baron I guess haha Either way it's cool.
RedBaron · M
@LadyGrace It's actually a play on my surname.

@LadyGrace Why do you keep reposting the same link?
LadyGrace · 70-79
@RedBaron Because I was talking to different people, rather than write it all down here. Saves time.

… that would necessitate belief in a rapture to begin with… 😐
Adstar · 56-60, M
I believe the Rapture will happen on the day of the second coming of Jesus.. At the last trumpet. for the trumpet will blast and the dead Saints shall be raised and we who are alive and remain will be caught up ( raptured ) to meet the LORD in the Sky and so shall we always be with the LORD..
LadyGrace · 70-79
That is a great film and there's like four different parts I think.
Nothing would make me happier than if they all suddenly disappeared.
Finally the planet would be able to breathe again.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@robingoodfellow It will be just the opposite.
No one knows the day nor hour. Yet innumerable people say it’s imminent. Guess it’s all a matter of which Bible verse you ascribe to.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@BiasForAction That's right. No one knows except God himself when the Rapture shall take place. And He said it's imminent.

I'm Norwegian and not sober,so not entirely sure what those words mean, but I think the world has started ending

I think overheating the earth and causing volcanoes to go boom is more likely...

Quiet, it's supposed to be a secret.

@JimboSaturn good movie - go and watch.

@JimboSaturn

There was a time he was making anything and everything they threw at him. Remember that whole IRS thing, and he had to pay back taxes. Yeah, that's probably why he took this role, for the money.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@SW-User I saw it. I was disappointed in its silly Christian message personally. I have lost respect for Nicolas Cage.
I think the 'rapture' is not what many believe it to be .
It is a literal: 'tearing apart by force', so i imagine it will be violent if it does happen.
@LadyGrace i suppose it depends how one interprets it🤷‍♀️

Its just neither of the ancient words rapture is supposed to be derived from are gentle .
LadyGrace · 70-79
@OogieBoogie I know only how the Bible interprets it and those who are left behind, won't even know it happened, until they see everyone is gone that believed in Christ.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@OogieBoogie Here's some history on the rapture. The Greek word for it is harpanzo or the "catching away" of followers of Christ, which is mentioned in the Bible.

Don't be silly. Rapture isn't even in the bible. It was made up by Cotton Mather to justify strangling "witches" in old America,

How are you defining what the "rapture" is?
