No One Loves Us Like Jesus
Though I looked for love throughout my life
It never came to pass.
I searched down every avenue,
My soul could not find rest.
But one day on my knees I fell,
And looked to God above.
He took my hand and pulled me up,
Into His arms of love.
How sweet my Savior's tender heart
To meet me in my pain.
To love me even in my sin,
And want me back again.
To seek me in a crowded world,
And place me in His plans.
He proved how much He loves me,
When He showed His nail-scarred hands.
Oh, the love....He gave to me.
When He died on Calvary.
I can barely take it in.....
That He cleansed, my every sin.
It never came to pass.
I searched down every avenue,
My soul could not find rest.
But one day on my knees I fell,
And looked to God above.
He took my hand and pulled me up,
Into His arms of love.
How sweet my Savior's tender heart
To meet me in my pain.
To love me even in my sin,
And want me back again.
To seek me in a crowded world,
And place me in His plans.
He proved how much He loves me,
When He showed His nail-scarred hands.
Oh, the love....He gave to me.
When He died on Calvary.
I can barely take it in.....
That He cleansed, my every sin.
