Ever think about the woman at the well who spoke with Jesus?

She started out with- “How come you, a Jew, are asking me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?” (Jews in those days wouldn’t be caught dead talking to Samaritans.)
A few minutes later she said "The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet"
As she spoke to her neighbours she said, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”
A short time later her neighbours said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Messiah the Savior of the world.”

Notice the progression? Jewish man to Prophet to Messiah. Those who are aware of the fullness of Christ have made the three steps. Notice the number 3? One God in Three Persons. YAHWEH!

I do think about her sometimes. You'll have no choice but to believe if someone of another tribe that is never seen associated with your own told you your history that nobody would know. She knew the acceptance wasn't a natural one but a spiritual one.

Like Goldilocks and the three bears. Like the three stooges. Like the three men in a tub, rub-a-dub-dub.

It a set-piece of fiction everywhere.

Athough some, if not most, of the biblical stories are fake their real purpose is to illustrate one or more of the real Ten Commandments found in Exodus 34:11-26.

Therefore, the significant question is which one of those commandments does that story illustrate?
