@monte3 You are correct Monte. It was invented by fundamentalist Protestants in the 1800s. Nowhere in scripture does it say anything will happen before tribulation.

@karysma It never alludes to it happening BEFORE tribulation though. Most signs point towards it happening during or after tribulation. Only in the 1800s as Monte said did certain fundamentalists start preaching rapture pretribulation.

Who restrains evil from taking over the world apart from the Holy Spirit who is one with the body of Christ? When will he be taken out of the way?

@karysma To me that totally implies post tribulation. As evil would have taken hold at that point. And that's the point of Jesus return.

Many Christians have escaped by dying before the end times arrived..

Also the tribulation is two sided..

1) Tribulation comes in the form of the followers of satan persecuting Christians on earth.. Part of the end times suffering will be as a result of the Anti-christ and His followers actions against Christians and the world in general..

2) Tribulation comes in the form of the Wrath of God upon the world as a response to the persecution of His followers.. While Christians in the end times will be subjected to the tribulation caused by the Anti Christ and His followers we shall not be subject to the avenging Wrath of God that will be poured out upon the anti chirsts.. God is well able to protect Christians who will still be alive and remain on earth during those final stages..

Have a read of some scripture i believe in prophetic about the end times..

@SpiritualMan The greatest earthquake the world has ever seen did not take place around Jerusalem in the Year 70.... 1/3rd of the seas and waters did not become as blood / wormwood and people did not die on mass because they where forced to drink the toxic water in the year 70..

You need ALL the prophecies to come true for it to be the actual end times tribulation..

Now i know some excitable people who come out of the woodwork if there is an earthquake somewhere or a famine or a war starts and says ""the end is nigh"" And they do a lot of damage to people who are excitable like them and get caught up in the end of the world talk.. Many of them get their faith damaged by the experience of believing the world is going to end and a few years later they are still here and the world is still going on it's business as before...

I know also that some people are so desirous for the world to come to an end because their lives suck and they are not prepared to commit suicide.. And then there are those who hate the people of the world so much they wish for the end times disasters to fall upon humanity..

It's best to stay calm and keep observing and wait to see if all the signs are lining up rather then jump the gun and fall flat on ones face and do some damage along the way..

Any sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage between a woman and a man is Sin.... People who disbelieve God on His Word will not seek His Atonement for the sins they do not recognize as sin..

Salvation is easy all it takes is to believe God and trust in the Atonement He has for ones sins.. Once people start preaching that this sin or that sin are not sins they are preaching death to anyone who believes them..

Why change the topic like this.. Of course human state based marriage laws are imperfect so what???

When two Bible believing Christians get married they have a marriage based on scriptural teachings not on worldly state definitions..

As for me i will trust in the Bible. I will not be trusting in someones recent definitions of ancient Greek or Hebrew word definitions.. There are people who believe in the infallibility of ""gospel"" of Schofield and place their trust in the alternate interpretations of words so that when they have a personal disagreement with the word of God they can always go to Schofield or some other inventive definitions books to get the Bible passage of verse reinterpreted to what they want it to say.. Such ways are the ways that lead unto death..

So when ever i see someone bringing up Greek or Hebrew definitions to change the Word of God i totally reject their message.. I trust in the power of the LORD to preserve His Word.. I do not trust in men who seek to change the word of God by giving inventive definitions to turn the Bible message into something like George Orwells ""new speak"" dystopia of 1984..
