Why Would A Christian Do This?

Discourage other Christians from telling the world about the rapture of the church and the 7 year of tribulation written in scripture reserved for those left behind?

Simple.

They're not living right and aren't sure they'll make it on the first flight. They get uncomfortable hearing about the rapture because they're so comfortable living a life of sin.

Sadly, most people are deceived by Satan and they don't even know Jesus, or the Bible. But we are living in the last days when Gods word is going out to the whole world. Praise God many are still being saved.
