Thank God I am saved.

Yes, I am saved. I am saved by the blood of Jesus. I thank the Good Lord each day for saving my soul.
I've actually been baptized three times in my life.

I was born Catholic and baptized as an infant (being third generation Italian). Then I was converted into a Baptist church when I was about 5 or 6 years old, so I grew up in a Christian home.

When I was about 8 or 10 years old, I was saved after going to a Billy Graham Crusade because I learned about the Lord and how Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I was just learning about Jesus then and was baptized in the church I grew up in, because I came to know the Lord as my Savior.

As I got older though, in my teenage years and adult years too, I strayed away from Him, yet God always had a way of bringing me back.

It wasn't until many struggles and years of anguish that I sought out for the Lord again and it was through that, I found God.
When I came back to the Lord and found His light I was baptized again. (This was in my adult years. My late 30's early 40's I was born again). I am a born again Christian.

Maybe it was through the teachings of Jesus Christ that I learned. Or, maybe it was God himself telling me, I'm not done with you yet, or even maybe this is all in His plan for me, because God has saved me more than once. Whatever it is, I know He has kept me here for a reason. Whatever it is, I believe it's all in His plan for me.

When you read the Word of scripture, it tells us all.
God has become my strength, my hope, my wisdom and my faith.
He became my armor, my protector, my shield, my guidance, He has lead me to know that I shall not put any man before Him.

I can still recall the very first verse I ever learned from the Bible is John 3:16.

His Words are not just in red letters. But it is of the passion of His Father. The Creator, The Almighty God and I thank Him every day for His goodness and His saving grace.

Jesus can suck my dick.
@JonathanC Why such a rude comment? You could just keep scrolling if you disagree. You have your views I have mine, if that's how you feel, your entitled to your opinion, but you could comment a bit nicer, maybe other readers may not want to read such fowl language. Those types of comments are better left unsaid, with the respect of others.

@MamaButterfly You dont have to read his comments. (foul language, not fowl language).
@Entwistle Thank you for the correction, and in all honesty I like to read comments from others because it gives an opportunity for another's perspective, and that was his own, I guess. I probably didn't need to reply but others may not have wanted to also read that kind of remark from others in the category of Christianity. I shared this post only under the religious and spirituality group to that was highlighted under Christianity. It wasn't meant as a public plea unless I categorized it wrong.
It was just my personal experience I shared about my faith. His faith is obviously different than mine, but for some Christians and believers in whatever their faith, have their right to share thier own thoughts whether I agree or not.
I just disagreed on his wording.

I do sincerely appreciate your correction on my Grammer, because I am also an aspired writer and when I make grammatical errors, it is important to me that they are pointed out to me. I call them constructive criticism, which I need if I want to be a successful writer. Thank you kindly for your reply.

Sincerely,
