I Am a Christian and I Love Jesus

I want to set you all right about the Jews killed Christ bit. Jesus was Jewish. Some Jews, mostly leaders in Palestine at the time, sided with the Romans to get rid of him, because he was seen as a trouble-maker who would bring down the wrath of the Romans upon them. Then the Christians, who derived from Jesus's at first entirely Jewish followers, curried favor with the Romans as well, by blaming Jews for offing Christ. It is typical behavior of people, seen both among the Jews and the Christians, too blame a weak unpopular group rather than a strong, respected group for an action. People tend to curry favor with powerful authorities and forces and to brutalize those that are vulnerable and odd.Note also that Ashkanazi Jews are smart and have contributed much to civilization, especially in the sciences, the arts, and in finance. The muslims have contributed much less that is of value.

I agree with the first three sentences but I wonder what basis you have for 'curried favor' in sentence 4.

@silmarilion456: If what you say is true, why were Christians persecuted by the Romans for nearly three centuries?

@silmarilion456: I prefer Scripture to other writings. Peter says, a Jew speaking to Jews, "Ye, by the hand of lawless men, have crucified and slain," Acts 2: 23. Pilate was actually trying to keep in favour with the Jews by agreeing to His crucifixion.

@silmarilion456: If you regard what is in Scripture merely as 'possible' then it's pointless my saying anything further.

@silmarilion456: So if I were to ask someone else, would he/she agree with you on every detail regarding what was to be accepted and what rejected?

@silmarilion456: I love how when someone gets a dictionary for their birthday they then feel compelled to use it for the whole of the next year...

@silmarilion456: The level of your language leaves me wondering WHICH grammar school you went to! Also, what sort of Christian desires hell as the destination for anyone? Intellectually and religiously you are a total wreck!

@silmarilion456: Ahhhhh hahahahahahha! I have this lovely vision of the Apostle Peter with his video camera, telling all the crowds to get out of the way so that he can record the miracles, and keeping it above his head to keep it dry as he starts sinking while walking on the water.

However, you refer to the Bible as inspired. Do you actually believe that? Do you believe in the resurrection?
