usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 SO you believe that that's all that exists ?
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher No I have seen things that proved to me there is a life after we leave our earthly bodies its the only way I can explain what I have seen and experienced .For instance have you ever been some where you have never been before yet you know it like the back of your hand .I have also had presences that werent there and seen people I knew were no longer here .I call it my sixth sense my dad and grandfather had it to .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 So you agree that even though you can't see, feel or touch it, it might still exist ?
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher I saw it and felt it so I know it exists
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 But do you believe in thing s outside of your senses that can exist?
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher like what
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Like a greater conscience, intelligence ?
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher Not really .I do believe were not the only planet that has life in a universe that we have no idea how large it is but ours isnt the only galaxy so they maybe intelligent life elsewhere .I believe in the paranormal because I have seen and felt it and heard it .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Faith in something existing,is a god given only I think. Just my opinion
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher I dont believe in god as thats a chritian belief .People had gods before chritianity so does that mean that all those gods existed because of belief .Their all man made beliefs the church made to try to control people by giving them something to believe in .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 you have a valid argument , yes
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher If you study archeology you will see that there is evidence that at some point we were visited by beings from else where .Study beliefs and hyroglifs etc its all there .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Yes, I'v seen some of those. But I myself are a firm believer in a greater consciousness and I call it God
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher Each to their own mate .I have had an interest in archeology for years and studied it and learnt alot through documentaries and books it is really interesting and showed me alot .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 yes, I agree with so much archaeology find that point to ancient aliens that might have been interpreted for 'the Gods'. Its good subject and it always wise to ask the tough questions and stand by them regardless of how different our views are
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher I just dont like the church or religion as it causes to much ill feeling and wars .I also studied the bible when younger and found it very contadictory written by different people 1000s of years after the only jesus who really did exist and there is proof of died .Not only that he and his father werent carpenters they were stone masons just one of many things they got wrong .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Yes, lots of people suffered because of religion for sure. And the fact that ther was a mix up with carpentry might not be too important. But searching for the truth anytime can be a challenge and can cause people to lose faith. Especially since ther is so many metaphors in the Bible it confuses things even more. Either way I hope you find the truth no matter what it is
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher I probably never will but the journey is interesting and exciting and you never stop learning which keeps me wanting to know more .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Same her. At the moment I have gone as far as I can with understanding my faith
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@usher Thats a shame keep looking you might surprise yourself .
usher · 41-45, F
@Rhode57 Thank you . What I really meant is that I so much believe in what I do that I don't feel the need to look further. But I understand you sentiment
