@SW-User i have a rough phase where i get drunk alot sometimes. I pray to god to help me stop it. But it doesn't work. I have to only make self stop it.

You mentioned that you pray to God. Do you believe that Jesus is the only God? By praying to God do you mean praying to Jesus?

You keep mentioning that you will try reading the Bible? This sounds more like an excuse. Why it is so hard to read the Bible?
Have you read any part of the Bible? Or are you yet to start?
If not, do you have a reading plan in place?

People ask for help, but are not yet ready to follow the advices. If someone keep saying "will try", I see that as an excuse.
I believe if we are looking for a positive change the right time to take the action is right now.

Who am I to judge you? Only Jesus can judge. Even if someone doesn't read the Bible, Jesus will love them.

@SW-User satan is same in all religions. Ways are different. I don't differentiate God either. Jesus is loving and other are too. But right now nothing is working for me. Despite all the efforts i am failing. I can't even forget someone i loved

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray… And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up (James 5:13,15).
