When a religious nut tries to argue about polyamory so you shoot this

If you choose to believe your way go ahead just know you need to re read the Bible. "many important figures had more than one wife, such as in the instances of Esau (Gen 26:34; 28:6-9), Jacob (Gen 29:15-28), Elkanah (1 Samuel 1:1-8), David (1 Samuel 25:39-44; 2 Samuel 3:2-5; 5:13-16), and Solomon (1 Kings 11:1-3)."

It's 2022, can we all just agree to move on from so called "Holy Writ"?

@SW-User you win this 😂 I'm a Christian but that doesn't mean I have to try to force my beliefs. "Ok I don't agree with that, but we can move past that" end of discussion 😂🤷
It is true that these are recorded in the Bible, just as wars, brutal killings, etc.

That's different from saying God commanded it, etc.

@SomeMichGuy God blessed Solomon with multiple partners.
@Rosiechick13 Solomon *had* many wives.

If there is a verse saying what you just said, I'd be interested in seeing it.
I feel like the Bible is written in a way that anything can be justified. The benefits of Protestantism.

@BohemianBabe True. I believe as long as I follow him and don't like be a jerk pretty much 😂. I'll be fine
@Rosiechick13 So far, you seem to not be a jerk. 😁

when atheists quote old testament in a poor attempt to discredit Christianity.... 🤣

you're about 2000 years behind the times... 🤣
@wildbill83 To be fair, this isn't discrediting Christianity. It's discrediting Christians who say we're supposed to be monogamous.
