Straight-forward gospel in a nutshell is in I Corinthians 15: 3-4. If you truly believe this then Jesus said you belong to Him. ( Read I John ) - As believers we have been given ( past tense ) His Holy Spirit. One of the Spirit's functions is to counsel us in the word and to convince us of the truth of it during our lifetime. As time passes and you ''experience'' more & more of God's working ( He is at work in you - Philippians 1: 6 ) then you will k now that you know that you KNOW.
