In the discussions below, the theory is pointing to men and women irrespective of their married life here getting converted to women/angels and entering through the heaven gates to marry Christ.
Another theory says marriage has significance only on earth. There is no marriage in heaven. Our bodies undergo transformation in new earth. Quite possibly we will be again created in the image of Jesus in new earth. That means women will transform into men too. New earth is the one Jesus was creating all these while in heaven. He will be transporting that to a new location and Christians will occupy new earth after death.
Old Angels may continue to occupy heaven where as Jesus will live in new earth along with Christians. When needed he being God can seemlessly shuttle between heaven and new earth.
In short marriage is in significant in heaven or new earth. All we have to do is to keep sitting on the throne assigned to us.
