And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 16

It's funny how in Matthew, Mark and Luke there is absolutely no mention of a pre-existing Jesus. You'd have thought that something as important as that would get a mention. Only in the last gospel written is this a doctrine. It took a while to think of it, I suppose...

@walabby Wrong!

@Carazaa Jesus did miracles and people wrote about them as they saw them, and throughout the entire Bible from the first verse in Genesis to the Last verse in the Bible Jesus speaks.
How in the Genesis? In hebrew it says "in the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The symbols are of a house and someone came out of the house. That is Jesus he stepped down from heaven and became man. And All the festivals of slaughtered lambs is prophesy of Jesus coming to be the slaughtered Lamb for the world.Every book in the Bible is about what is to come.

Mark 10:18
He said he alone is good.
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

I will give you many examples of how Jesus said he was God later today after running some errands.

Matthew 11:27
[big]All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.[/big]

@Carazaa "And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone."
Jesus was actually telling the dude that he WASN'T God!
Carazaa · F
@walabby No he was saying he is God, because only God is good! You misunderstood. He had just done miracles to prove he is God!

Colossians 2:9-10 “For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily. and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.“

Matthew 13:11
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Mark 8:29
And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

Luke 9:20
He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9
walabby · 61-69, M
@Carazaa None of those say that Jesus was pre-existing.
Carazaa · F
@walabby Wrong! Everlasting Father is from the beginning!
[big]"EVERLASTING FATHER"[/big]

2 Peter 1:1 “Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.“

John spoke directly to Jesus who said he is the creator of all from the beginning, and the other books observed the miracles, which proved he is God. It is one thing to say "I am God" anyone can say that, right? But only Jesus knew the future and did the kinds of miracles that noone else has done.

I am going to ask you a question please think hard now what is easier to say Your sins are forgiven or heal a sick man?
Carazaa · F
@walabby

Matthew 9
[big]
"Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man."[/big]
walabby · 61-69, M
@Carazaa Well, nothing there about the pre-existence of Jesus... only a crowd praising God for giving the authority to forgive sins to a MAN!
Besides, did this really happen, or was it just a story made up by Matthew to try to give credence to his new religion.
The book of Matthew is considered to have been written 40+ years after the events described within...
Jesus is also supposed to have said that some people in the audience will still be alive when he returned. Still. Waiting. ..!
Carazaa · F
@walabby He returned a few days after he said that after he rose and he walked with them to prove he had rissen and then infront of 500 witnesses he went up to heaven.
