Why did Jesus say "Your sins are forgiven" to a paralyzed man? Why is this significant? The most significant verses in the entire Bible maybe!
[big]Jesus tepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!” 4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man. That pointed to Jesus as being God!

@Pfuzylogic Yes exactly, that is the reason I believe, to point to the reason he came to prove he is God who can forgive our sins. It is an amazing passage and one of the most important I think in the entire Bible. Especially for all who say Jesus never said he is God. Who can forgive sin except God!

@Carazaa The paralyzed man stood up but that wasn’t the most important thing that happened there. First things first!
@Carazaa The true Messiah will be the opposite of everything the Antichrist will claim including being THE GOD. Keep that in mind

@vic7ory JESUS already proved he is THE TRUE MESSIAH. We don't need to worry about antichrist if we know Jesus, right? Only those who don't now HIM!
@Carazaa if you knew jesus then you would know your enemy and his tactics of deceptions that have been playing over mankind for centuries in preparation of his arrival

@vic7ory Very true! I know Jesus, He is stronger than Satan. This story proved He is God in the flesh!
@Carazaa God has always empowered his creations *against* those who claimed to be God. He never contradicts himself. Case in point: Moses whom he empowered against the tyrannical Pharoah who claimed to be God. There's a reason why those pyramids still stand and why Pharoahs body still lies in the museum for many generations to ponder over until history will repeat itself again one more time in a spectacular display of truth against falsehood

There can only be One

@vic7ory Jesus was never a creation but the Creator. As he said John 8:58
Before Abraham was born “I am”.
