Not all of them do. It's your misunderstanding when you see these individuals as a whole. Its one of those common mistakes users have on here. Some of us have a personal relationship with God/Jesus Christ.
Oh and no some of us are not religious. God doesn't create religion that restraints people's consciousness to believe under the law. We are no longer under the law since Jesus demolished it.

Why do parents teach their children to brush their teeth?
latinbutterfly · F
Because they are children, so they don't know it. The exact same reason why we went to school learn various subjects such as math, language arts, and social studies.

All parents share world views, moral frameworks, views about politics and ideas and opinions with their children. Not all parents, and not all christians, indoctrinate. Some people share their bewilderment and thought vacuum with their children.

For the same reason that Norse gods are pushed.

@Pfuzylogic So tired of it. Odin this. Thank Freya that. I wish they'd shut up.

@Abstraction The Aryan Brothers insisted that they backed a Christian God when it wasn’t true.

Later on those kids figure out the discrepancies. Education is dangerous. That's why fundies push home schooling.

My first lesson in religion was hearing my dad holler "GOD DAMN IT!" when his favorite sports team was getting their asses kicked.
That is how I knew it was Sunday.
I remember hearing about love and forgiveness, love your enemy, anger and hatred being a sin, turning the other cheek...
But then in school, the staff who claimed to be religious were usually the worst about hollering, bitching, threats, losing their tempers...
Yeah
