I Am A Christian

But please, whatever you believe in, never ever force your faith down other people's throats. That's not how you convince people who know how to think.

Maybe you should post this in an atheist post where it belongs and not shove your belief??

@Pfuzylogic Hmm interesting. What makes you think I am shoving my belief by saying I'm a Christian?

Most Christians know they don’t shove their beliefs. Normally it is those that don’t believe that come on out posts and start attacking.

And if your logic makes sense, wouldn't posting this as an atheist post seem like I'm 'shoving' atheism as well?

This post isn't meant to attack Christians in any way. As I mentioned, "whatever you believe in". This applies to atheism as well, which is just another religion.

Then you are confessing to be a Christian that is confused on how to proselytize?
ryoshi0915 · 31-35, F
Hmm more of sending a message to those who are confused on how to proselytize.

Then you won’t confess your own beliefs. You have shared enough.
I haven’t seen a profession of your Faith just an attack on mine.

This post is not meant to share anyone's beliefs. It's meant to express empathy and open-mindedness. How does anyone convince others by stating fallacies and imposing opinions as general truths?

Most people want to believe in God. It's usually one's redemption from depression, hopelessness, and anxiety. The problem is religions' judgments (again, in general and not limited to Christianity) discourage them from asking for help. I know most religious people don't do this on purpose; they just fail to understand where the other person is coming from. As a result, they unwittingly push them away.

On the other hand, how does an atheist convince a religious person otherwise by calling him stupid, crazy, or bigot? I've never heard of any. Most religious people believe they're doing the will of God and expect that the 'world' is against them. The only way is for him to present 'contradictions' that make them question their beliefs.

Besides, the reason why I posted it in "I am a Christian" group is because I couldn't create my own group for some reason.

Thank you for your honesty.
I refer to my previous point of those that don’t believe that you didn’t embrace at the time. It is a Faith based commitment and nothing more. A Faith that there is a loving God that had his Son become a man to be rejected by his own. It is everyone’s personal decision to either accept or reject that Jesus was the direct progeny of God. I do.
ryoshi0915 · 31-35, F
Indeed. A statement of faith and testament of God's love is often enough. It's not our job to save but we can pray and witness. It saddens me, for example, when I try to bring people to church and someone bullies and calls them a demon when they don't accept Jesus right away or even forces them to kneel down without giving them enough time to do it willingly themselves.

@ryoshi0915
Did you just profess that you proclaim Jesus as the Son of God?
We don’t save.
The Holy Spirit seals us.
