None of us are. And if we were, we would have had no need of Christ's wonderful -- indeed perfect -- sacrifice.

How was it perfect? A lot of people sacrifice their lives....is that perfect too?

@BellindaBallarina Well Christ Himself was (is) perfect: because as fully human as He is, He is also God.

That doesn't make others' sacrifices less worthy or less worth remembering and honouring, of course.

It's too early to try and write a sermon about that lol. But in the context of what Jesus was doing, and looking at some of His parables, it's not as crazy as it first seems.
