@BridgeOvertroubledWaters Of course not. Christians, though, believe that the way to overcome our imperfections (though not, at least in this world, attain perfection ourselves), is through accepting and following Christ.

@AngieB I'm Jewish. Judaism holds that even the most pious person can always potentially sin. That is why there is the concept of Repentance.
The least we can all do (no matter what we believe in!!) is to strive to be good people and do good to one another.
