I Am a Christian and I Love Jesus

If you've spoken to me or if you've read my posts, you would know that I have three adopted children. We adopted our son in 2016 and our daughters at the end of last year. When our son first came into our home he was 9 and his behavior was just awful. We had to ground him a lot but we mainly showed him our love and forgiveness. We showed him that our love is unconditional, always and nothing he could do or say would ever make us not want him. Once he realized that (took a few months) his behavior got better and he wouldn't get grounded as much. He is now one happy kid with a family who will love him forever and ever.
When Dylan first came into our home he did not believe in God. This child has had it rough so my husband and I didn't make him go to church. Instead, he would go to a friend of the families house. My daughters didn't think that was fair but we did what we thought was right. We would pray every night and eventually he would start asking us questions and saying stuff like, "well, maybe I want to go to church and see what it's like." But when Sunday would get here he'd say no, and we would ask why and he would say, "I'm still mad at God." Eventually one Sunday morning he came into our room, and said, "if it's okay I'd like to come with y'all today." He's been going ever since that day.
On the day we adopted him, after it was finalized, he said, "I prayed that this would happen, that y'all would want to keep me. God listened, he heard my prayer." ❤️ ❤️
What a blessing he has been to our family!!
