I Am a Born Again Christian

So one of our closest friend's mother died a few days ago. It was sudden but she had been dealing with health issues for years so not too unexpected. Sad situation all the same.

So he gets an angry call from his brother asking why he wasn't at the funeral and friend is all confused because the funeral was going to be next week.

Turns out his other brother was in charge of the arrangements and didn't want our friend there, so told him It's next week and being planned when he had arranged for a quick burial two days after she died. Then told his other sister and brother that friend refused to attend. He then told them friend was in charge of the funeral arrangements and that it was his fault only the siblings and aunt were invited.

Luckily his family knows friend better but it's such a horrible thing for that brother to do.

I don't know how to pray in this case. I personally am hating his brother right now and I don't like hating someone. I know WHAT to pray on, Just not how to get in a better frame of mind before going in to prayer. I don't know why I'M so upset about it as if it was my mother or such either.

Somebody recently told me 'weddings and funerals bring out the worst in people.' So very true. Sometimes I think people are more comfortable converting grief to anger, whether there's a logical reason for it or not. Mostly I think that on occasion I too am capable of bad behavior and often I'm not sure why either.
@Mamapolo2016 In his case this brother had no grief. He hated his parents and no one can pin why. When their father died he started that ones down and one more to. Said it right to his mother's face too.
@EllaDisenchanted For your sake, just accept it's incomprehensible. Sometimes there's just no understanding people.
@Mamapolo2016 I just hope he finds salvation. That boy needs Jesus.
There you go. Don't hate the sinner, because we all are. We just like our sins more than theirs.@EllaDisenchanted
@Mamapolo2016 *softly* Sometimes funerals bring out the evilness even more in people.
@PoetryNEmotion Yes, they do. so much so that I tend to go home instead of to the house afterwards.
