Neonatal eye treatment, typically with Erythromycin ointment, is a routine preventative measure against ophthalmia neonatorum, a serious eye infection caused by bacteria—primarily gonorrhea and chlamydia—transmitted during passage through the birth canal. It prevents severe infections that can lead to permanent vision damage or blindness.
RFK, Jr has been named “the most dangerous person in Trump’s administration and for good reason. Actually many good reasons! His mismanagement of the Texas measles outbreak shortly after taking the position as the head of HHS was an obvious tip-off of just how unfit he is in this role.
