What would make you disown your adult child?

@SW-User Seriously ? Someone going through that would likely really need their parents at that point. LGBT teens are over represented among teen homeless and suicides.

@bijouxbroussard kicking them out is something I may or may not do But what is definite is that I'd never accept such a thing, so the child might kick him or herself out eventually anyway. I would not walk my daughter down the Isle to say yes to another woman, and the only advice I could give a gay son about relationships would be to marry a good woman.

Trans is something else entirely and if they actually go ahead with surgical intervention without my consent, I'd certainly disown them

@Sharon I can only pray that I make Him proud in all my ways and if at any time I faulter, I pray He has enough mercy on me to correct me and I pray my eyes ears and heart are open to His correction.
