@Echambers101 Nyctophobia. A fear of the dark. As long as there's a sliver of light somewhere I'm fine though.

@FlutteringWordsX What is scary about darkness? Actually, you reminded me that even though I'm old as dirt I still won't dangle a foot or arm over the bed sooo...I guess I'm still afraid of the monsters under it!

There was a movie back when I was about 11 which the teen had his foot out over the bed which chopped his toe off, since then these little marshmallow toesies of mine doesn't even take a peek over the bed!🦶 So do know what you mean. Isn't it very common "fear" for many people though, do you think?
